Annually the Abbotsford Chapter holds a "Shop til you Drop" event, so we can all get our holiday shopping done at one time, within the network.

This luncheon is an informal, buffet-style lunch with many, many VWN Members selling their wares at their vendor tables.

Vendor tables are available to all VWN Members, including those from chapters outside of Abbotsford.  They are on a first-come, first serve basis BY RESERVATION. 

You MUST reserve for this luncheon no later than Friday November 14th at 12:00 in order to attend.

All door prizes collected from vendor tables this month will be given directly to Abbotsford's Transition House.

Come and join us for our November Dinner Meeting, our guest speaker will be Sue Clement, Success Coaching. Topic will be all about Networking.

There are many people in our community who are suffering; children going to bed hungry; parents who forego eating so that their children can have the basics of survival.

This year, your Maple Ridge Chapter Core Executive has decided to support families in our community. Each month we will be collecting non-perishable food items or cash for the Friends In Need Food Bank.

Please help us to help others. Donations of food and cash will be accepted at each of our monthly dinner meetings.

Last month (October 2008) we collected 13 pounds of food and diapers and $50.00 for the Friends In Need Food Bank.

Shop 'Til You Drop at Surrey-Delta Chapter

Come join us for our annual Shop 'Til You Drop Event.

This event is a shopping and networking event.

Members set up tables to sell their products as the rest of the members stroll around doing their early Christmas shopping, networking and consuming finger food.

Space is limited, so be sure to sign up early if you want a table!

Where: Surrey Golf Course located at: 7700 - 168th Street, Surrey.

When: Wednesday, November 26, 2008.

Time:

• Registration and networking starts at 11:15 am
• Program and Lunch: 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm

Meeting Reservations:

Cost: $19.00 for members and $23.00 for non members. $23.00 for drop-ins without a reservation.

Reservation Deadline:

Friday, November 21st, 2008 @ 9:00 pm.

Cancellations are accepted up to 9 am the Monday before the meeting.

Members who do not cancel by the deadline posted will be charged for the lunch.

Come join the Langley Daytime Chapter for our

Egg Nog Shuffle!

This month is going to be different from any other!  

Come out and join us as we bring our December Silent Auction back!

(All the proceeds of the silent auction will go to help the families we have adopted through Ishtar)

This month we will have an Open Bar and an Appetizer Menu.

There will be lots of Christmas Music and tons of time to Mingle and Network! 

This meeting we will be accepting Non-Perishable Food Items. 

We will also be accepting donations towards the families we have adopted through Ishtar.

If you are interested in donating to the Silent Auction please contact Jill Sinclair at jill@jillsinclair.com.  All donations must be received at least one week prior to the meeting (December 3rd) and if possible please drop them off unwrapped.  You can drop them off with Jill or with Angie at Well Seasoned.

Please mark your calendars for our December lunch – December 16^th.  We will be having a fabulous lunch with networking (please exercise your directory).  For this meeting we ask that you bring a non-perishable food item so that we can build the food hampers again this year.  The Robertson School families that received last year’s baskets were extremely appreciative and said that it made a big difference to their holidays.  We would like to again be able to sponsor three families, so please donate.
