Our 2009-2010 Core Elections will be finalized. We will also be hearing from Brita Dubroff with a special presentation of "Networking Naturally". Come ready to learn how to get the most of your networking time and energy.
** Please be ready to run for any position on our Core. The Valley Women's Network is a volunteer organization, and it is time for YOU to step up, so some of the people who have been working hard for years can finally take a break. There are big jobs and small ones, and absolutely no experience is required - all training will be provided. Volunteering is a great way to get known and be present in the lives of all the Abbotsford Chapter members' lives. **

Cost: $15 members, $17 guests and future members.
Meal: Tossed Garden Salad. Baked Ham. Scalloped Potatoes. Bean Medley. Strawberry Layer Cake.
Alternate Meal: Tossed Salad. Veggie Stir Fry. Rice. Fruit Salad.

Join us for the yearly VWN annual ‘Garden Party’ on June 16 where summer will be officially launched with Food, Fashion and Fun! Come view the latest designs of local Vancouverite and International Sensation Malene Grotrian, learn how to effectively multiply your outfit options with Katherine Lazaruk, Shannon Bellsito will showcase JC Studios hot summer/fall fashion, Carol Tulpar will flaunt her silk Knickers, Diane Peel will introduce us to Mary Kay's trendy makeup must haves for this season and Diane Jennings will showcase clothing and jewelry from Italy and how to wrap those shawls. We won't let you leave until we've introduced you to Diane Anderson who will introduce you to Sex, Love...Bliss! A Registered Clinical Counselor who will show you how to irresistibly attract the love you want and keep a good catch! Tons of fun, TONS of prizes (over $1000).
We will be outside in the beautiful Garden Patio at the Coast Plaza (weather permitting). Don’t forget your party dresses and hats and bring a friend. This is also our meeting where members can bring their little sisters, daughters or young friends to show them the world of women in business. Don’t miss out on the fun. Register today!

This month's focus is on enjoying our colourful group of business contacts, as we explore ways to continue networking over the summer months.

Pamper Me Garden Party
Come to our Pamper Me Garden Parth on June 24th, 2009.
Members specializing in personal pampering services will be offering a sample of their services for free.
Meeting registration will start at 11:15 a.m., with lunch being served buffet style at 12 noon.
Come early to visit regular vendor tables and check out which pampering service you would like to put your name down for.
Special service awards will be given out in the latter part of the meeting, as well as draws for the people who registered early for the 2009-2010 session. We'll also be having a regular vendor door prize draws as well.
Don't miss this special pampering and networking event!
Members who do not cancel by the deadline posted will be charged for the lunch.
