Welcome Back!
Getting to know you,
Getting to know all about you.
Getting to like you,
Getting to hope you like me.
Getting to know you,
Getting to feel free and easy
When I am with you,
Getting to know what to say
Haven't you noticed
Suddenly I'm bright and breezy?
Because of all the beautiful and new
Things I'm learning about you
Day by day.
(Selected Lyrics from “Getting to know you”)
Welcome to the 2009 – 2010 year. The Chilliwack Chapter of Valley Women’s Network has chosen a theme . . . getting to know you. To this end, we have created a new contest, a new form (look in the newsletter) and we will kick off the year with networking.
Over the course of this year we will encourage you to learn more about your fellow members – new and old. In learning more about them we hope that you will feel more comfortable socializing with, networking with and doing business with these ladies.
Each month we will include a copy of the new form in the newsletter, we will also include a graph showing the status of the contestants.
The winners of the early renewal contest will be announced.
We will also be gathering all of the information, membership fees, photos etc for the new directory.
Emily Hoskins of Liberty Tree Photography is a portrait, wedding, and commercial photographer based out of Chilliwack, and offering services to the Fraser Valley area. She started her business 7 years ago and loves it more and more each day. She is new to the Fraser Valley Woman's network and is excited to start becoming involved.
Emily has offered to take the photos for our directory this year and will be set up and ready for both September and October's meetings, so come prepared to have your photo taken. The pictures will be taken free of charge for the directory, but three additional packages are available at a special VWM discount price. The best value package is B, which includes a copy of the high resolution digital file to be able to use on your web site, business card, or for any other purpose, she has given us a very special rate of $30.00 +PST ($31.50 including tax), regular price $125. See the attachment for more details.
We look forward to getting to know you.
