Greetings Ladies,

We invite you to our May luncheon.

The Valley Women’s Network is about relationships – some are friendships, others are for business (buying or selling), others are for a common interest.  Regardless of your situation the network has something for you.  I find that like any relationship, the more you give to it, the more you will get out of it.  Whether it is someone to bounce an idea off of, ask their opinion of, seek something, sell something, a shoulder to cry on, motivation to stick to that diet or ????  If you build relationships within the network you will find what you are looking for.

Have you ever wondered why some of the core member teams seem to be so close?  Why some people seem to know more about others?  Often it is because they have assisted with the Core of the Chapter.  Please consider offering your talents to help with next year’s Core.  The network is only as strong as those who help to plan and implement what we do.  In Chilliwack we have favoured the team approach for many years, this allows larger jobs to be shared amongst a group thus making the workload lighter than taking on the position by yourself.

Our May meeting will be focus on elections and networking.  So the faster the election is out of the way the faster we get to networking.  Just a note to those of you who are scared to attend because of elections – we have nominations (accepted) for all but one position. We have met with the ladies (mothers) at Robertson School for a social – it is great to see how each of the ladies is opening up to the members that attended.  They are still thankful to the VWN for all of our support.

Please mark your calendars for our June luncheon – June 22nd.

Have a great month.

Arnice

“Achieving Your Dreams”

Littley Dosanjh is the co-founder of Liberty and Balance Seminars a leading edge personal and professional seminar company.  The company has been in business for over 12 years and the head office is based in Delta, BC.  Over the last 14 years Littley has coached, mentored and facilitated thousands of individuals and businesses in realizing their true potential.

She has been happily married for 15 years, and has 2 very active boys ages 9 and 12.  She is very busy with the seminars, owns a number of other successful businesses and has created the liberty to balance it with family time.  Littley is very passionate about supporting people in their growth.

She is grounded in the concept that if you want to change your results you must change your thinking.  Both Littley and her husband had similar upbringings, and heard “we can’t afford it” a lot when growing up.  She knew that in order to have the success they both wanted, their thinking had to change.  So not only has she supported other people in creating their dreams, they both are absolutely living their own dreams.

“Achieving Your Dreams” is the topic Littley will share with us in a networking exercise.
