Thursday, October 7 is a networking meeting. Your business cards will go into a draw that if chosen will
give you a two minute opportunity to promote yourself and your business.

Cost: $25.00 members, $30.00 non-members, who may attend two luncheons before being asked to become a member (Includes HST)

We are required to tell the Golf Club the number of lunches to prepare; so we ask you to make your lunch reservation by 5:00 pm on Tuesday before the meeting.

Networking Opportunities:
Networking exercises, Testimonials, Spotlights, and Display Tables are
some of the networking opportunities provided at our meetings. As a
member, you are also provided advertising opportunities at very
reasonable rates. One of the most valuable benefits of membership is
building strong alliances and friendships with other business women. As
Darcy Rezac states in Work the Pond, "One networking event does not a
networker make". Be sure to attend all our meetings!

Hi VWN ladies,
Our next VWN luncheon will be Tuesday, Oct. 26 from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. We will have a speaker, Kim Self from Aromatica, come and give us a presentation on the history of tea, and we will also be sampling a few different types of tea. It is possible he may have products on hand to sell...just in case you are a tea lover and really want to go home with the ones you liked right away!
We will also have our photographers ready to take your picture for the directory. This will be the only opportunity you will have to do that. As we said at the last luncheon if you have a picture you would like to use, then please let Arnice know and she will let you know the best way of getting that photo to her. If you are happy with the photo from last year's directory, then that may also be used again. Please update your info on the website so that we have your most recent information about you and your business. Please note that your membership fees are due no later than the October luncheon if you have not already paid them.
Next week on Wednesday Oct. 20 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm we will be participating in an evening of pumpkin carving with some of the moms from Robertson School. Please RSVP to Christine Millar by Friday Oct. 15th if you plan to come. Remember to bring a plate of goodies with you, and if you have any pumpkin carving tools, aprons, old newspapers, please bring those as well.
