Tri-City December Luncheon - Holiday Networking with Seasonal Buffet

December is a special month for our chapter - as we donate funds to Joy's Place (formerly the Women's Transition House). As well, we invite you to assist in supporting the Joy's Place women in need by bringing new unwrapped gifts - some suggestions... gloves, scarfs, fashion jewelry, beauty products, PJ's, personal items, etc.
Please join us on December 9th and get a jump on enjoying the season festivities with friendly & fun networking. You'll be delighted to know that we've arranged for the special "Mistletoe Buffet" - the desert table is at least 12' long! Not to mention all the abundance of salads, hot and cold entrees - so come hungry! Also note, registration is limited to just 70 for this month. Don't be disappointed, we will sell out for this special lunch... so Register NOW!
Networking and Lunch Time: 11:45 to 1:30. Lunch starts promptly at 12:00 noon. There is no admittance once the doors are closed.
Dress Code: No Denim, No Cell phones or pagers (ensure they are turned off). This is the policy of The Vancouver Golf Club.
Cost: $25.00 members, $30.00 non-members, who may attend two luncheons before being asked to become a member (includes HST)
Reservation Deadline: 5:00 pm Tuesday prior to Friday luncheon. Your attendance at each luncheon must be booked in advance as we have limited seating.
Special Dietary Requirements: Special meals may be accommodated, and must be booked when you make your reservation

Greetings! Welcome to our VWN Chilliwack Chapter Christmas Luncheon Ladies, in twelve days it’s Christmas and the excitement and special joy of giving is everywhere. We think of Christmas as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable, pleasant time to be mindful of those in need and lend a helping hand. Through our partnership at Robertson School we have chosen to donate three food hampers including grocery gift cards and eight Christmas stockings to a few less fortunate families which we will fill during our luncheon today. The VWN Core members wish to extend a special thank you for your generosity in support of families’ of Robertson School this Christmas. A quote; “The best of all gifts around a Christmas tree is the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other”.---Burton Hillis (Better Homes and Gardens). In year’s past, the Robertson School families who received hampers and Christmas stockings have been most appreciative and said VWN makes a difference in their family Christmas.Today, Lucy Arruda is our “In the Spotlight” speaker. We will also enjoy special entertainment featuring the “Valley Girl’s” players’ guild.
