Greetings! Welcome to our VWN Chilliwack Chapter Christmas Luncheon Ladies, in twelve days it’s Christmas and the excitement and special joy of giving is everywhere. We think of Christmas as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable, pleasant time to be mindful of those in need and lend a helping hand. Through our partnership at Robertson School we have chosen to donate three food hampers including grocery gift cards and eight Christmas stockings to a few less fortunate families which we will fill during our luncheon today. The VWN Core members wish to extend a special thank you for your generosity in support of families’ of Robertson School this Christmas. A quote; “The best of all gifts around a Christmas tree is the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other”.---Burton Hillis (Better Homes and Gardens). In year’s past, the Robertson School families who received hampers and Christmas stockings have been most appreciative and said VWN makes a difference in their family Christmas.Today, Lucy Arruda is our “In the Spotlight” speaker. We will also enjoy special entertainment featuring the “Valley Girl’s” players’ guild.
