WELCOME to the Evening Chapter of the Valley Women's Network

Founded in 1998

Please note, to reserve for a meeting you need to log in to your account then sign up using the Events Calendar. For assistance with this process please contact your local website coordinator.

Meetings: Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month except for July and August.

They include a light dinner, warm and friendly conversation, fun and games, and guest speakers that inspire and inform.

Non-members may attend twice before being asked to become a member.

Networking tables are available for members to display their products or services. Contact the reservations coordinator to book either a full or half table. There is no fee for tables but we ask that you donate a draw prize valued at approximately $10.

GoGo Grandmothers                                       Who Are GoGo Grandmothers What Do They Do?

The focus of this group is on
four critical areas: orphans,
grandmothers
and people
living with HIV and AIDS.

Today, there are well over 100 groups across Canada, from British Columbia to Prince Edward Island, with many still in the process of forming. Groups
have also formed in Australia, New Zealand and the United States.

One of their mandates is to
support the unsung heroes of Africa, the grandmothers. Grandmothers single-handedly care for
millions of children orphaned by AIDS, sometimes as many as ten to fifteen in
one household.

When: Second Tuesday of the Month, September through to June
Time: 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Cost: $20.00 for members, $22.00 for non-members
Membership: $35.00 annual membership fee. July—June

Please be reminded that 48 hours cancellation notice is required.

Spotlight Feature: A chance to showcase your business, services or products. You will have five minutes to speak at the luncheon. We have time for only one spotlight per month, on a first-come basis. To book your spotlight contact the spotlight/publicity convener. There is no fee for a spolight, but we ask that you donate a draw prize valued at approximately $10.
