Surrey - Delta Chapter Valley Women's Network

Welcome to the Surrey - Delta Chapter of the Valley Women's Network.
We are a ladies networking club for women in the Surrey and Delta areas.

Our chapter was founded in 1997.

We meet monthly at the Surrey Golf Course for a networking luncheon
the 4th Wednesday of each month between September and June. See below for location details, when our next ladies networking meeting is and our meeting pricing.

Come join our ladies networking club to meet new friends and make some business contacts in the Surrey and Delta areas of the Vancouver Lower Mainland.

Each month the Core Committee plans different events such as guest speakers, networking activities and fun seasonal events.

Notice from Chapter Webmistress: The membership list has be cleaned up as of October 2, 2008. If you could login but now you can't, then you are not on the list of paid members as of September 30, 2008. Please send your membership dues in so you can be reinstated.

Have You Reviewed Your Profile?

When the new website was created, your existing profile information at the time was transferred over. Have you checked that your profile is up to date since the move?

Please login and double check your profile is up to date and correct. Change your user name to the name you wish to be found under in the directory, forum, or chat room. Once you change your user name, next time you login, use this name.

New members need to do this too to be included in the next printed directory.

Deadline: Production of the new Directory will be in progress after the October meeting. Be sure to update your profile by October 31, 2008.

2008-2009 Membership Dues

Membership dues for the 2008 - 2009 session are now due. Please send in your dues as soon as possible.

Surrey Delta Membership Directory - Printed Version

We will start taking pictures for next year's directory in September. If you have joined us since we created the last directory or are a returning member wishing to use a new picture, please renew your membership and request a new picture be taken. The deadline for new pictures is the October meeting.

Surrey - Delta Chapter 2008 - 2009 Core Members

The Core Committee members meet once per month. Each position may form a committee, if necessary, to help with duties.

Surrey - Delta Chapter Plans for Season

Business Seminars

During the new session, the Surrey - Delta Chapter will be continuing with the Business Seminar Series.

If you would like to present a business seminar, please contact Kim
Evoy.

Our business seminars run from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In the past, we have held them in the meeting room at one of the restaurants along Fraser Hwy. in Surrey.

The price of the business seminar includes your dinner, the speaker and handouts provided by the speaker. Space will be limited.

We have guest speakers planned again this season. The schedule will be posted here, once we have confirmations in place.

  The 5-minute spotlight is a promotional presentation about your business.

• Directory Photos

  Please have your photograph taken after the luncheon (if you haven’t already) so we can put it in our directory!

• Newton Advocacy Group Clothing Collection

  If you have any nice used clothing you can donate to women, please bring it with you to our meetings. The Newton Advocacy Group will then distribute it to women in need. Thank you.

Please add your request for a vendor table in the "Comments"
field of your reservation and we will follow up with you regarding availability.

Surrey - Delta Chapter Networking Luncheon Meetings:

Where: We will meet at the Surrey Golf Course located
at: 7700 - 168th Street, Surrey.

When: Fourth Wednesday of each month from September
to June.

Time:

• Registration and networking starts at 11:15 am
• Program and Lunch: 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm

Meeting Reservations:

Cost: $17.00 for members and $19.00 for non members.
$21.00 for drop-ins without a reservation.

Reservation Deadline: October 17th, 2008 @ 9:00 pm.
Cancellations are accepted up to 9 am the Monday before the meeting.

Members who do not cancel by the deadline posted will be charged
for the lunch.

For efficiency, every one is requested to have cash ready or schedules
filled out before approaching the Registration Table.

Our new reservation system is now up. Please log into your account,
select the luncheon you wish to book for and place your reservation.

To make a change to your reservation, email the Reservations
Chair.

Guests can use the reservation system also.
