  We meet monthly for a networking luncheon the 4th Wednesday of each month between September and June. Luncheon information is below.

Come join our VWN Surrey/Delta Chapter to meet new friends and make some business contacts in the Surrey and Delta areas of the Vancouver Lower Mainland.

Each month the Core Committee plans different events including guest speakers, networking activities, fun seasonal events and other surprises.

Surrey - Delta Networking Luncheon Information:

Our ladies networking luncheons consist of a delicious meal, guest speakers, networking opportunities, friendly conversation, networking games,  and much more!

Our Next Networking Luncheon Meeting:

Wed, March 24, 2010 

Registration and Networking starts at 11:15 a.m.

Program ends at 1:30 pm

Structured Networking, networking tips and a brief presentation.

Where: At the Compass Point Inn located at: 9850 King George Hwy., Surrey.

Time:

• Tables - Set up between 11:00 and 11:30 a.m.
• Registration and networking starts at 11:15 a.m.
• Program and Lunch: 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Meeting Reservation Information and Fees:

• $20 - members who reserve by 1 week prior
• $23 - guests who reserve by 1 week prior
• $25 - drop in - members and guests

Reservation Deadline: The Tuesday, one week prior, at midnight. Cancellations are accepted up to midnight on the Tuesday a week in advance of meeting.

Members who do not cancel by the deadline posted will be charged for the lunch.

Our new reservation system is now up. Please log into your account, select the luncheon you wish to book for and place your reservation.

Guests can use the reservation system also.

Parking:           Parking is available FREE of Charge to VWN members. Park in Hotel’s lot and adjacent lot for the Sky train and be sure to register your car plate numbers at the front desk.  NB: Free overflow parking is available at the King George Medical Centre – register your plate number at Hotel as above.  

Membership Fees

Annual membership is $35.

Surrey Delta Membership Directory - Printed Version

We will publish the next update of our 2009-2010 edition of the Surrey Delta Membership directory for the March meeting. The information wil be collected from our online membership directory. The printed directory includes a picture of you. If you need to submit a picture or renew your picture do this via your profile on the website.

Deadline for you to update your profile in the online directory (which is used for the printed directory) is Mar 10, 2010.

Advertise in the Surrey Delta Chapter Printed Directory

If you would like to purchase a "purple page" for the next update pls email maryjane@smartsortservices by Mar 7, 2010.

You can have your own full page of advertising for only $25 per year.

Each person will have one page. The back of each page will be blank so someone can make notes when they talk to you - great networking tool!

Submission Format: The ads can be submitted in any size or format.

We will be printing the purple pages up which will be handed out at the March luncheon.

This is a great opportunity for advertising in a way that is very easy for members to find you.

Surrey - Delta Chapter 2009 - 2010 Core Members

The Core Committee members meet once per month. Each position may form a committee, if necessary, to help with duties.

See the newsletter for each Core member job description if you would like to fill one of the vacant positions.

Charities Supporting This Year

Although this year the Core Members selected 3 charities to support, sadly one of them had to close their doors. The remaining two charities, at this time, support women and children in need.

• Stepping Stones

  Stepping Stones provides support to pregnant and parenting youth in the Surrey area. These parents range in age from 12 to mid 20's and come from troubled or unsupportive homes.

• A child through Childcare Worldwide

Guest Speakers

Each year the Assistant Coordinator plans the guest speakers for each meeting. If you would like to be a guest speaker, please contact the Coordinator or Assistant Coordinator to arrange.

Have You Reviewed Your Profile?

Everyone should login and create a profile. Not only so you can be found in the website directory, but also so your name will be included in the next edition of our printed membership directory. You will also be included in mailings sent to the chapter membership.

Please login and double check your profile is up to date and correct. Change your user name to the name you wish to be found under in the directory, forum, or chat room. Once you change your user name, next time you login, use this name.

New members need to do this also.
