WELCOME to the Vancouver Chapter of the Valley Women's Network
Founded in 2004
Chapter Information:
Where: The Coast Plaza Suite Hotel, 1763 Comox Street (at Denman), Vancouver
When: 4th Tuesday of each month, from September to June
Time: 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Cost: $35.00 for all VWN members, $38.00 for non-members/guests
Exception: Special banquets in Dec and June when cost is higher.
The meeting cost includes a light dinner and meeting, warm and friendly conversation, fun and games, and guest speakers that inspire and inform.
Parking:
FREE! Cost is included for Comox St lot. Please tell the parking attendant you are attending the VWN banquet.
Membership:
$35.00 annual membership fee. July—June. (Please scroll to the bottom of this page where we have listed the contact information for our chapter's treasurer. All cheques, for advertising, dinners and membership, may be sent to her.)
With your membership, you also receive the member price at other chapters of the Valley Women’s Network. Your name, picture, and short bio will be placed in the annual membership online directory.
Networking tables are available for members, free of charge, to display their products or services. A $10 door prize is required. Please, no discounted service certificates! See below for more detailed information.
Hundredth Member:
A special prize will be given to the 100th person who becomes a VWN downtown chapter member. Stay tuned for details!

**Please advise at reservation time if any special dietary request is required. Special meal requests will be accepted for those with Allergies and Vegetarian requirements only! (The hotel has also requested that we limit the number of special meal requests. This option is not generally available under the current meal price. If there are too many requests, we may have to charge extra.)**

Meeting Features Include:
This welcome back evening will be a great time to reconnect with other members and find out what everyone did over the summer.
* Drop in early and meet the others. Dinner at 7:00 pm. Door prizes each month are donated from the exhibitors. 50/50 Draw.
* Trade Show Tables available and a member advertising table is set up. Members also have opportunity to make announcements.
Trade Show Table Policies:
- Table set-up can begin anytime after 6:00 pm.
- Tables are on a first-come, first-serve basis so reserve early so you are not disappointed! When reserving your table please advise the business or product you are advertising.
- The purpose of the trade show table is to maximize lead generation and for sales. You are to collect business cards at your table and will draw for your door prize from your own collection. You will be given a maximum of 1 minute at the podium (meeting time allowing) to announce your business and to announce the winner of the prize. You are free to follow-up with those individuals who left their business card at your table.
- Please bring the email authorizing your networking table. The printed email from VWN will list the name of the business you are advertising. This will minimize the chances of having duplicate businesses advertising the same product.
